Why do dogs even display emotion and altered behavior?

And what about other creatures: horses, frogs, orcas, dolphins, cows, etc.?

All of these creatures, even the lowly bacteria, have been known to alter their behavior in contact with humans, displaying changes in behavior and alterations in physical form as a result.

The sequence of events is shown clearly in this dog research: As the wolves and dogs became further domesticated though contact with humans, their behaviors changed. Contact with humans consisted of petting, feeding, talking, and playing with the animals by the breeders.

This contact with humans resulted in increased communications and exchanges of friendship. As these dogs began to reciprocate the exchanges with the humans, their physical bodies began to gradually mutate. Reciprocated emotional exchanges caused an alteration of consciousness and a reflected change in their physical bodies.

The surge of neurochemistry was simply the result of increased emotional response to the human contact. In actuality, increased contact with higher conscious living beings brought about increased consciousness among these living beings in wolf bodies, which became reflected by the changes in their physical bodies.
